First week of School!

Going back to lessons are not as bored as I thought it was because I'm back with my clique. The only irritating thing was that the director actually called upon all the lecturers to group us up selectively and they came up with what they think it's good, it's 'draw lots'. How sickening! All the tutors said the same thing to us. Only Winnie was the most flexible of all. :D I think she's many students' favourite tutor. Okay, enough of the rantings.

Tutorials are much of introduction and groupings. Lectures are enriching with good lecturers. However, we always ended up in the front row during lectures when we came in on time. Sigh. I guess we have to reach earlier next time.

This week I have been spending all my money on food. And it's all fattening enough that my badminton ytd did not help much.
Tue - KFC Hot Devil Drumlets/Yoghurt/Dim Sum
Wed - Pizza Hut during the 3-hr break
Thur - Nihon Muza before badminton
Fri - Mac at school before going home

Anyway, I finally bought a retractable mouse for me to bring to school! It's a leopard skin mouse. Cool man! Cos previously I saw one from Courts but it costs about double the price that I bought. Thus, after some psycho-ing done by Zoe, I bought it from Bishan Popular. Last one on sale and another on display outside. I went to the company's website and saw a set with keyboard. Damn nice! It has a unique 'A' shaped form on the keys for better typing. But, I use laptop so i think it's not very useful to me. Hah. Better not waste that money.

We are still waiting for the reply from Mosbach to confirm our registration there. We left about 2 plus months to prepare everything before leaving Singapore. Yet, we have not pay for our air tickets. Last weekend, I have been doing some research on Europe countries, which places are worth to visit. We may not even have so much time to visit so many places. So, i guess we need to plan our journey carefully. Oh ya! I need to learn German. I have chosen Jap as my elective for Sem 2. Though it's a little stupid not to change and learn German, but I'm very much more eager to learn Jap than German. I think if I learn German, I may fall asleep anytime. Haha! And their book is like $50 okay! Not kidding. They dun have lecture notes. I rather go outside and buy those CDs to listen. Shall go check out the National Library for German books and CDs.

Speaking of Jap, the first lesson was super fun! We learnt the 4 main areas of Japan ('Nihon' in Jap), 4 types of writings, pronunciation, introduction and numerics (1 to 199). It's damn cool! I think we look like small kids learning ABC. Haha. Hopefully I can at least speak and understand a few sentences.
